Facing Slavery: Princeton Family Stories is a 55-minute documentary produced and directed by Melvin R. McCray, Princeton class of 1974. The film was created for the Princeton and Slavery Project and premiered on November 17, 2017 at the Princeton Garden Theater. It was part of the public unveiling of the Princeton and Slavery website, the result of a 5-year research project conducted by History Professor Martha Sandweiss, archivists and students that examined Princeton University's connecton to the institution of slavery in America.
